About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop a comprehensive concept for sustainability data management, including data collection, automation, and system architecture
Lead the implementation of tools, systems, and KPIs for group-wide sustainability governance (e.g., ESG reporting, Product Carbon Footprint)
Build a scalable and transparent data landscape in close collaboration with Controlling, IT, and other corporate functions
Support operational units, ensure data quality, and create transparency in progress measurement and reporting
Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Heraeus ESG Steering Board)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a comparable field
At least five years of professional experience in an international corporate environment or in management consulting
Experience in data management, Controlling, reporting systems, and digitalization (finance background advantageous)
Proven experience independently structuring and leading (sub)projects
Strong numerical affinity, high systems and digitalization competence, and excellent conceptual skills
Ability to quickly grasp, structure, and communicate complex topics clearly
Strong communication skills, assertiveness, intercultural competence, and business-fluent English
