About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Development and implementation of a comprehensive framework to ensure compliance with relevant global sustainability regulations and reporting standards
- Support operational entities in implementing regulatory requirements
- Monitor global regulatory developments and assess their impact on the Group
- Manage and coordinate sustainability reporting for the Group
- Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Heraeus ESG Steering Board)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Law, Business Administration or a comparable field (legal background advantageous)
- At least five years of professional experience in an international corporation, management consultancy, auditing firm or legal environment
- Experience in ESG regulation and sustainability reporting
- Experience independently structuring and leading (sub-)projects
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and sound judgment
- Ability to quickly grasp complex regulatory matters and communicate them appropriately to different audiences
- Strong communication and persuasion skills, intercultural competence and fluent English
