About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Technical and disciplinary leadership and further development of the Electrical Engineering team
- Serving as the Responsible Electrical Specialist (Verantwortliche Elektrofachkraft, VEFK)
- Ensuring compliance with all operator obligations within the electrical responsibility area
- Responsibility for the safe, economical and trouble-free operation of electrical systems and supply networks
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase plant availability, operational reliability and security of supply
- Creating standards, guidelines, procedures and work instructions
- Preparing and managing maintenance, investment and budget planning, including a 5-year financial plan
- Responsibility for commissioning new plants into regular operation
- Implementing and supporting technical construction and infrastructure projects as client or client representative
- Supporting and advising internal customers and departments on all electrical engineering matters
- Selecting, qualifying and developing electrical specialists
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of professional experience leading electrical operations or maintenance organizations in an industrial environment
- Experience as a Responsible Electrical Specialist (VEFK) or comparable qualification
- Solid knowledge of operating medium- and low-voltage systems
- Very good knowledge of relevant statutory regulations, standards and codes (VDE, DGUV, BetrSichV etc.)
- Experience fulfilling operator obligations
- Experience planning and implementing technical investment and maintenance measures
- Confident use of CAFM, ERP and MS Office systems
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- High sense of responsibility and safety awareness
- Business-minded and economically oriented thinking
- Assertiveness and decisiveness
- Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style
- High social competence in dealing with employees, service providers and management
