About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze policy coverage and assess claim eligibility in accordance with contractual terms;
- Review documents, police reports, photographs and other evidence related to claims;
- Determine responsibility and analyze accident dynamics, verifying the causal link between events and reported damages;
- Request expert examinations, inspections and additional documentation whenever necessary to support technical case analysis;
- Prepare technical opinions and record analyses clearly and consistently in the company’s systems;
- Authorize repairs, indemnities and payments, ensuring compliance with internal policies and contracted coverages;
- Identify potential inconsistencies and indicators of fraud, contributing to the company’s risk mitigation;
- Interact with and support customers, brokers, repair shops and third parties, ensuring a quality experience throughout the claims process;
- Ensure compliance with internal rules, operational procedures and regulations applicable to the claims process.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, Insurance Management or related fields;
- Experience or interest in claims analysis and handling, preferably in the Auto line;
- Analytical ability to interpret documents, policies and evidence related to claims processes;
- Knowledge of insurance coverage, civil liability and accident dynamics;
- Good verbal and written communication skills for preparing technical opinions and interacting with various stakeholders;
- Organized, detail-oriented profile with critical thinking and problem-solving focus;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
