Events

• You'll own the global T&E event strategy and operations, acting as a strategic leader and hands-on executor supporting Events teams across the organization.
• Expect to align with event owners around the company and set the process roadmap for the company's Procurement & T&E processes, lead platform deployment and lifecycle management, manage key partners and stakeholders, and personally drive process standardization & cost optimization.
• You will also be a key contributor to the overall T&E process design and governance, ensuring tight controls and scalability across Travel, Expense, Events, and Card programs.
• Strategy & Policy: Lead the global company-wide T&E & Procurement event strategy and associated policies (room blocks, venues, group meals, payments, reconciliation, etc.).
• Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with Events teams, Executive Business Partners (EBPs), department leaders, and cross-functional teams (Compliance, Legal, Privacy, PTP, Cards, Security) to align event programs with business needs and compliance requirements.
• Supplier & Spend Management: Optimize supplier strategy and ongoing event operations.
• Controls & Standardization: Create and standardize event policy + controls across all organizations and managers.
• Scalability & Standardization: Drive global standardization and operational scalability. Act as the primary DRI for process optimization and enforcement of compliance guardrails.
• Compliance & Audit: Ensure SOX-compliant T&E & Procurement policies across all events.
• Process Design & Governance: Lead and enhance the full T&E event process design and governance. Lead SOP documentation, controls alignment, and audit readiness.
• Integration: Integrate T&E policy, budgeting/forecasting, travel, and card programs into a cohesive workflow for holistic event programs management.
• Data & Systems: Ensure high data accuracy and reliable integrations across ERP, analytics, travel, tax, payroll, and related downstream systems.
• Category Management/Sourcing (Events): Own the global events category strategy and supplier base. Lead sourcing, RFPs/RFQs, negotiations, contracting support, and vendor selection, partnering with internal sourcing teams.
• Process Improvement (Events): Map current-state event operations, redesign workflows, controls, tooling, and handoffs across the events program. Define KPIs/reporting and drive adoption of better operating standards globally. Manage continuous process improvement through the deployment of new policies and platforms, ensuring a great experience and reduction of cycle time across hotel room blocks, venues, and group meals and other T&E related event purchases.
• Event Technology/Product: Own internal event-related products/tools/platforms. Define roadmap and requirements for event tech or event operations systems. Lead the integration of emerging AI throughout the workflow.

T&E Events Lead

Technical Program Manager

• Own end-to-end execution for PoP buildouts, expansions, and network capacity delivery across internal teams, vendors, colocation providers, fiber providers, and cloud providers.
• Drive physical and logical readiness across routers, line cards, optics, cabling, patch panels, cross-connects, provider handoffs, cloud interconnects, BGP sessions, routing policy, and production turn-up.
• Maintain clear ownership of timelines, dependencies, risks, blockers, escalation paths, and readiness milestones for active network deployments.
• Translate network capacity needs and deployment plans into concrete execution workstreams with owners, dates, test expectations, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner closely with network engineers to validate link state, optics health, FEC/BER signals, light levels, interface configuration, routing readiness, and handoff completeness.
• Ensure vendors and datacenter teams have the instructions they need: port maps, rack elevations, LOAs/CLOAs, diagrams, install windows, test plans, access details, and acceptance criteria.
• Build durable operational mechanisms, including PoP readiness checklists, deployment trackers, vendor instruction templates, escalation playbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Identify recurring bottlenecks in PoP deployment and network capacity delivery, then drive fixes that make future builds faster, more predictable, and less dependent on tribal knowledge.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including crisp status, impact, owner, next step, and requested decision for escalations.

Technical Program Manager, Core Network – WAN Infrastructure

Recruitment

• Lead and develop a high-performing Recruiting Operations team, setting clear expectations, building strong judgment, and supporting career growth.
• Own and improve the operational systems and workflows that underpin recruiting, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Design, implement, and continuously optimize automations across recruiting workflows, approvals, data quality checks, reporting processes, and systems handoffs.

• Partner directly with the Head of Research Recruiting and research leadership team to define priority talent targets and shape bespoke engagement strategies.
• Build and maintain deep market intelligence across frontier AI, research, engineering, and adjacent talent ecosystems, including competitor movement, candidate motivations, and relationship context.
• Proactively identify, map, and cultivate exceptional high-profile talent before there is a formal or standard hiring process attached.
• Translate weak signals, network intelligence, and market gossip into concrete recruiting actions, outreach plans, and leadership recommendations.
• Manage highly tailored candidate journeys that may involve confidential outreach, senior stakeholder alignment, custom evaluation paths, and complex closing strategy.

DevOps Engineer

• Craft and continuously refine the strategic vision and operating model for the Startups AI Deployment Engineering team, aligning it with OpenAI’s broader company objectives and the evolving needs of high-growth startup customers.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing technical ICs supporting startup customers across AI-native, developer-led, and product-led companies.
• Help startups move from early experimentation to production usage by identifying technical blockers, advising on architecture, and driving practical paths to deployment.
• Partner closely with Sales to determine where technical engagement can accelerate adoption, production usage, and long-term account growth.
• Represent the technical voice of startup customers by synthesizing high-signal feedback, especially around developer experience, product gaps, deployment blockers, model performance, and emerging use cases.
• Translate recurring startup needs into repeatable playbooks, starter packs, reference architectures, internal tooling, and customer-facing assets that help the broader team move faster.

• Lead operation, maintenance, and calibration of a fleet of 3D printers supporting robotics prototyping efforts
• Develop and maintain workflows for print submission, prioritization, tracking, and delivery across engineering teams
• Prepare, process, and optimize print jobs across a variety of additive manufacturing technologies and materials
• Perform post-processing operations including support removal, finishing, bonding, machining, dyeing, and assembly preparation

• Define and run OpenAI’s operating model for the McKinsey partnership, spanning governance, joint planning, and execution cadence across regions.
• Serve as OpenAI’s senior executive counterpart to McKinsey’s global leadership, including relevant practice leadership and QuantumBlack / McKinsey technology leaders.
• Set joint priorities, resolve escalations, and ensure coordinated execution across global and regional teams.
• Shape and lead co-selling of complex, CxO-level enterprise AI transformation opportunities.
• Engage directly with enterprise executives (CEO, CDO, CIO, CTO, Board) alongside McKinsey partners to frame AI strategy, operating models, and value realization.
• Coordinate internal OpenAI stakeholders (product, research, GTM, legal, communications) to support McKinsey-led strategic engagements and lighthouse opportunities.
