About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide support for the US Migraine Medical strategy to achieve short- and long-term Medical objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues from Commercial, Field Medical, HEOR, Digital, US Medical Information, and other relevant internal partners.
- Participate in and support the review of promotional and non-promotional materials within the US Review Committee, ensuring compliant, accurate, and high-quality content.
- Serve as a reliable and trusted source of accurate scientific knowledge of the data, disease state, product label, and competitive landscape for migraine.
- Support data generation and analyses, ensure medical and scientific accuracy of manuscripts and abstracts/posters, and support the publication and congress planning process(es).
- Manage headquarters-led advisory boards, including advisor identification, contracting, and engagement.
- Initiate and maintain communications with the leadership of professional societies and patient advocacy groups to further medical objectives.
- Support the development of medical content for congresses, symposia, promotional speakers, and advisory boards.
Requirements
What you’ll need- MD or Doctoral degree in clinical/pharmacy specialty (PharmD, PhD) with 1+ years of Medical Affairs experience required; or Master's degree with 5+ years of Medical Affairs experience required.
- Experience in migraine or headache medicine therapeutic area is preferred.
- Basic understanding of the drug development process.
- Basic knowledge of health care economics and its impact on medical decision making.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with external customers and internal colleagues.
- Customer-oriented approach and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Proven strategic thinking skills and ability to interpret and implement strategic directions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deal effectively with deadlines.
- Highly motivated with demonstrated track record of high performance and excellence.
- Creativity, resourcefulness, high energy, and flexibility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of comprehending and communicating in a clear, concise manner a large amount of scientific information.
- Fluency in written and spoken English required.
