About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead development and implementation of complex models to produce unbiased and objective short-term and long-term US and global revenue forecasts for in-market products and programs beyond DP3
Implement a variety forecast approaches to triangulate opportunity assessments, address key business questions, and evaluate risk factors
Identify key inputs for forecasting models, and work cross-functionally to identify sources of insight
Responsible for synthesis and presentation of forecast and strategic implications in a timely manner to key stakeholders
Collaborate with analytics and market research to understand the performance versus forecast—and continuously fine-tune forecast assumptions
Lead alignment of key stakeholders on the appropriate source of insights for each forecast assumption
Provide revenue forecasts on an annual basis as input for key corporate processes
Collaborate with Manufacturing to translate demand forecasts to appropriate production and stock keeping schedules
Develop new forecast models for pipeline programs to help prioritize clinical investments
Develop requests for proposals, solicits competitive bids, awards contracts to outside forecast and commercial data partners

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 7 years of experience; OR a PhD with 5+ years of experience
Demonstrated analytical capabilities and critical thinking skills
Understanding of drug pharmaceutical development and commercialization process, as well as industry competitive dynamics
Demonstrated success defining business information and insight needs and translating those to specific deliverables; understanding of biopharmaceutical commercial market data sources
Ability to assess and direct vendor technical capabilities and manage risks in the analytic process
Ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands, deal with ambiguity, and collaborate with teams through complex and challenging cross-functional projects
Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, and pharma industry guidelines
Outstanding interpersonal skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfort with senior management and knowledge of senior management thought processes; ability to speak their language and address their needs.
