About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Process purchasing award summaries and purchasing documents for suppliers directly related to maintenance, repair and operational goods and services within RRPS global compliance policies
  • Develop sourcing lists and monitor supplier performance
  • Aggressively resolve all pricing, invoicing, and contract related issues with the suppliers
  • Negotiate pricing, terms and annual contracts with suppliers, especially for goods and services utilized at RRSA operational and remote facilities.
  • Analyze supplier cost/pricing information and benchmark the competition
  • Manage purchase requisition queue, vendor invoice management queue
  • Maintain open communication between internal departments, management, and suppliers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Materials Management, Finance, OR Packaging Engineering, and 3 years of procurement, materials management, supplier cost analysis, or supply chain management experience; OR 7 years of experience in procurement, materials management, supplier cost analysis, or supply chain management
  • Experience in handling confidential, sensitive matters with discretion
