About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage daily security operations for Defence programmes
Support day to day security activities including administration of budget and schedule
Support planning, co-ordination and execution of security standards and requirements
Lead creation and maintenance of operational security procedures
Coordinate security management plans and processes to support compliant outcomes
Interface on security topics with partners and government agencies
Support security investigations and maintain appropriate records
Maintain awareness of changes in government and company guidance that may impact local procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Sound knowledge of UK security regulations and MOD security policies
Understanding of principles of security management
Good understanding of project management (Budget, scheduling, risk and reporting)
Good influencing and communication skills, including training planning & delivery
Ability to work collaboratively across the UK and International programme
Preferably experienced in handling Government classified assets and Government security standards
Developed Vetting (DV) required
Minimum Security Check (SC) clearance required
