About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage daily security operations for Defence programmes
- Support day to day security activities including administration of budget and schedule
- Support planning, co-ordination and execution of security standards and requirements
- Lead creation and maintenance of operational security procedures
- Coordinate security management plans and processes to support compliant outcomes
- Interface on security topics with partners and government agencies
- Support security investigations and maintain appropriate records
- Maintain awareness of changes in government and company guidance that may impact local procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Sound knowledge of UK security regulations and MOD security policies
- Understanding of principles of security management
- Good understanding of project management (Budget, scheduling, risk and reporting)
- Good influencing and communication skills, including training planning & delivery
- Ability to work collaboratively across the UK and International programme
- Preferably experienced in handling Government classified assets and Government security standards
- Developed Vetting (DV) required
- Minimum Security Check (SC) clearance required
