About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, implement, and continuously improve performance, load, scalability, and reliability testing
Analyze and monitor performance metrics (response time, throughput, error rates, CPU/memory)
Architect and maintain automation frameworks for performance, API, web, and mobile testing
Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines to improve release velocity and product quality
Drive engineering excellence through best practices in testing, tooling, and deployment
Troubleshoot complex issues and collaborate with Engineering, UAT, and Product teams to reduce defects
Own QA and staging environments, test data, and performance test plans
Provide clear test status, risk assessment, and quality metrics to stakeholders
Work in an Agile environment, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setup

Requirements

What you’ll need

11 + years of experience in software engineering, QA, or performance engineering
Strong hands-on experience with performance testing tools: JMeter, Gatling, or K6
Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Groovy, or scripting languages (Apex is a plus)
Experience with test automation: Selenium WebDriver, Appium, REST Assured, Postman
Strong understanding of CI/CD using GitHub Actions or Jenkins
Expertise in performance monitoring and analysis using Splunk, Datadog, or similar tools
Experience with API, UAT, and mobile (iOS/Android) testing
Working knowledge of Salesforce testing (Admin certification preferred); familiarity with SFDX, SOQL, Data Loader
Solid understanding of database performance fundamentals (SQL, schemas)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern quality engineering practices
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
