About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the trusted data strategy advisor and SME for critical HRIS data programs
- Lead strategic guidance on data approaches, data dependencies, and execution plans for high-impact ES initiatives
- Define and execute data strategies for large-scale programs ensuring zero-error, on-time delivery for all critical cycles
- Build and maintain strategic data partnerships with ES Product Management, IT/DET, and cross-functional ES COEs
- Drive the technology operations roadmap for Workday and connected ES systems
- Manage and prioritize the HRIS backlog — balancing BAU operational demands with strategic program delivery
- Develop scalable processes, intake models, and governance structures that reflect best-in-class program management practices
- Own HRIS security strategy, policies, and governance across Workday and connected systems
- Lead a team of HRIS security SMEs
- Champion privacy-by-design principles across all HRIS systems and employee data handling practices
- Partner with audit and compliance teams to maintain and evidence security controls
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of progressive experience in HRIS, HR technology, data strategy, or related fields
- Deep Workday expertise — including security administration, EIBs, business process configuration, and system governance
