About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Americas Field Activation & Execution team, defining and executing the strategy for field-specific enablement needs.
- Drive adoption of global skill programs across the field (roughly 70% of the team's focus), while addressing bespoke, sales-team-specific enablement needs (roughly 20%) and stakeholder engagement (roughly 10%).
- Manage quarterly enablement & leadership team connects to align on business impact and emerging needs with sales leadership.
- Provide structured feedback to the global program teams to ensure global programs meet specific field team needs.
- Lead, coach, and develop your team of field enablement managers, building organizational depth and bench strength.
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's operating principles as we scale our enablement programs globally and across new offices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience, including 7+ years in sales as a quota-carrying Account Executive or sales manager
- Experience leading a field-facing enablement or sales operations team
- Strong track record of driving adoption of programs across a distributed sales organization
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience aligning field needs with global program teams
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to influence senior sales leaders.
