About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design and delivery of database engineering solutions
Perform applications database administration services including SQL code review, performance analysis, and database application design
Establish database standards for operations, upgrades, migrations and onboarding new applications
Interface with enterprise teams for Systems Administrators, Cyber Security and Capacity Planning groups
Write clear, concise, well organized technical documentation to maintain standards and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

12+ years of deep experience in Oracle database technologies
5+ years of cloud experience
3+ years of database performance experience on additional platforms
5+ years of experience with distributed replication technologies
Experience with cloud database platforms (AWS, Azure, or Oracle OCI certification is a plus)
Advanced skills in query performance tuning and optimization, Oracle Enterprise Manager
Strong Linux shell scripting skills, with a solid understanding of Linux performance
Proven ability to work effectively in team environments
Ability to define and drive database performance standards, best practices, and improvement initiatives
