About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Demonstrates SoundOff Signal’s Core Values in daily interactions with internal and external customers – building trust, living excellence, outstanding customer service, and innovation.
- Lead and execute the OEM sales strategy within automotive market(s).
- Plan and execute a profitable sales plan, hitting established KPI’s.
- Manage all aspects of the OEM relationship management.
- Manage contracts and business agreements in coordination with legal and the executive management team.
- Lead and manage OEM forecasting and recoveries with materials and operational teams.
- Lead and execute new product development with OEM’s on new or existing product working with internal teams - product management, program management engineering, quality, finance, and operations.
- Work cooperatively with other sales groups for maximum sales opportunities.
- Knowledge of OEM (Tier 2) product development programs and requirements.
- Work with marketing to support sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with all disciplines to improve efficiency of business systems needed to develop concepts and prototypes.
- Provide accurate and detailed reporting on sales metrics.
- Attend conferences and professional association meetings as needed.
- Travel up to 20%
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 10 years of Automotive OEM Tier One or Tier 2 technical sales with electrical and or mechanical experience preferred.
- Good understanding of basic Automotive OEM requirements.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite Programs.
- CRM – Salesforce preferred.
