Technical Program Manager, Payments Experiences

• Drive programs that span multiple Stripe engineering organizations with a focus on improving the internal platforms.

Technical Program Manager – Infrastructure

• Be an indirect tax subject matter expert (global VAT/GST) for our Merchant of Record product, specifically managing the complexity of shifting tax liability via marketplace and agency rules.
• Support Stripe’s expansion into new international markets, ensuring SMP remains compliant with varying global tax regulations.
• Participate in policy matters affecting indirect taxes internationally.

• Independently scope, design, deliver, and iterate on high-priority global programs that address SA's most strategic priorities, owning outcomes end-to-end with minimal oversight

• Actively collaborate with a wide variety of Stripe teams, including engineering, compliance, business development, and marketing, on a range of issues related to product development and commercialization.
• Work closely with colleagues across the Stripe legal team to clear key issues impacting the work of members of the team who support Stripe's regulatory structure, its customer agreements, and strategic financial partnerships.
