About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Reporting to the Director, Governance Practices and Transformation, support the delivery and ongoing management of regulatory oversight programs and business governance initiatives within Retail Advice & Solutions (RA&S)
  • Execute and manage "run" programs within the BG&C oversight function to ensure consistent and effective delivery
  • Maintain program documentation, schedules, and tracking mechanisms
  • Monitor program performance against established metrics and timelines
  • Support the implementation of compliance and regulatory initiatives across RA&S Team
  • Manage team inboxes and coordinate incoming requests and escalations
  • Triage and prioritize inquiries, ensuring timely routing and resolution
  • Schedule meetings, coordinate resources, and support project logistics
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance team efficiency and program effectiveness
  • Identify process bottlenecks and recommend practical solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve operational issues
  • Track and communicate improvement outcomes
  • Compile and analyze program data to monitor compliance and effectiveness
  • Prepare status reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review
  • Identify trends and areas requiring escalation or intervention
  • Support audit and regulatory reporting activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in wealth, insurance, or regulatory functions
  • Experience with process management, program coordination, or business operations
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible approach to changing priorities and requirements
  • Experience in regulatory or compliance-focused roles within financial services (preferred)
  • Familiarity with oversight programs or governance functions (preferred)
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (preferred)
  • Life insurance industry knowledge or LLQP/LOMA designation (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of RA&S regulatory environment (preferred)
