About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • support a global joint venture between GE and Baker Hughes
  • driving financial planning, reporting, income statement analysis, and close processes across the organization
  • act as a key finance partner to product, program, and cross-functional leaders
  • provide financial leadership for the Engineering P&L
  • coordinate passthrough management among GE Aviation, GE Gas Power, and Baker Hughes
  • oversee base cost management and the cost allocation process
  • support ISA/TSA agreements
  • manage Digital Technology investments
  • collaborate with the Capex Leader to oversee special tooling process, including investment tracking, reporting, and amortization
  • prepare financial materials for strategic reviews, Board of Directors meetings, and leadership presentations
  • enhance efficiency and consistency of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 5 years of finance experience
  • Graduate of GE’s Financial Management Program (FMP) or a comparable finance leadership program preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting
  • Experience in financial reporting, consolidations, and close processes
  • Strong expertise with ERP and financial systems, including HFM and Oracle
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated project leadership and process management capabilities
  • Proven ability to work effectively across global, cross-functional teams
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, challenge existing processes, and drive continuous improvement
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and disciplined
