About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the oversight and execution of construction, installation, and commissioning on the customer site
Lead and oversee the full scope of site activities during the Inquiry to Order (ITO) and/or Order to Remittance (OTR) phases for construction, installation, and commissioning
Act as the primary on-site leader, directly reporting to the Project Director
Manage, lead, and develop the site team, including contractors and sub-contractors
Ensure strict adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and cost parameters
Proactively monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies
Drive operational excellence through regular site inspections and audits
Maintain accurate site records, including comprehensive progress reports, daily logs, safety documentation, and quality control checks
Implement and rigorously enforce comprehensive safety programs and protocols

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in site management or a similar leadership role, preferably in a relevant industry
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects on time and within budget
Strong understanding of project management principles, construction methods, and safety regulations
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, OSHA 30) - preferred
Experience specifically within the Clinch River area or similar operational environments - preferred
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management - preferred
Extensive understanding of power generation and the nuclear industry - preferred
