About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Function as the key point of contact for relationships both internally and externally, from field personnel through to the executive team
  • Serve as a conduit for detailed understanding of customer’s business model and how GE’s products and services deliver added value to the customer
  • Develop and lead the specific account strategy for these key accounts, focused on maintaining existing business and growing our footprint across the Grid Solutions portfolio
  • Manage multiple sales channels, facilitate support from the business to enable channels to generate
  • Prospect, qualify and develop sales leads on target market segments
  • Identify prospects and create new sales opportunities
  • Meet and/or exceed annual commercial order intake and margin targets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge/experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience
  • Years of direct sales, channel sales, or account leadership experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • At least 10 years of experience in electrical/ Industrial Market sales or product business role
  • Experience developing and executing successful growth strategies
  • Ability to interact & function cooperatively with multiple stakeholders and customers
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Established project management skills
