About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support a global joint venture between GE and Baker Hughes
- Play a critical part in financial planning, reporting, income statement analysis, and closing processes
- Serve as a key finance partner to product, program, and cross-functional leaders
- Oversee base cost management and cost allocation processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ISA/TSA agreements
- Coordinate key planning cycles, including financial pacing and target setting
- Contribute to preparation of financial materials for strategic reviews and leadership presentations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of finance experience
- Graduate of GE’s Financial Management Program (FMP) or a comparable finance leadership program preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting
- Experience in financial reporting, consolidations, and close processes
- Strong expertise with ERP and financial systems, including HFM and Oracle
- Demonstrated project leadership and process management capabilities
- Proven ability to work effectively across global, cross-functional teams
- Ability to influence stakeholders, challenge existing processes, and drive continuous improvement
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and disciplined
