About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work closely with the Global Manufacturing Engineering Leader
  • Develop and deploy global standards that improve the reliability, availability, and performance of Aero Alliance’s manufacturing equipment and processes
  • Analyze data and work cross-functionally to implement proactive measures that improve processes
  • Responsible for cost reduction through standardization of equipment and processes
  • Establish standards, ensuring adherence to these standards
  • Focal point for new technology introductions, asset transfers, new process introductions
  • Coach and influence a dotted-line organization, comprising factory manufacturing engineers
  • Leverage analytical skills, lean methodology to drive SQDC in line with business and functional objectives
  • Acquiring strong technical knowledge and extensive exposure to manufacturing, engineering, quality, and safe process development
  • Lead investigations into failures and chronic issues, identifying root causes and implementing robust corrective actions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
  • 7+ years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical role (manufacturing engineer or similar) with expertise in Machining processes and equipment (ex: grinding, milling, turning, EDM, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics
  • Project Management skills and experience
  • Fluency in English in writing and speaking
