About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You will be responsible for acting as the technical interface with customers, field personnel, project managers and sales teams on the functional aspects of delivered systems
- Provide technical support to customers by phone or on site to assist field personnel during commissioning or maintenance phases
- Participate in developing technical solutions for commercial proposals
- Validate technical specifications from customers and suppliers
- Track and log issues in a dedicated tool
- Identify lessons learned and work with the Quality team to drive continuous improvement of products and practices
- Develop the customer relationship to become the preferred technical contact
- Collaborate with design teams (Engineering, R&D) to stay up to date with the new technologies being used
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in electronics (power systems and electric machines) and in industrial computing/control (Engineering degree, Master’s or equivalent experience)
- Ideally 3 years of experience in on-site customer interventions
- Technical experience with power converters, rotating machines and control systems
- Strong knowledge of technical fields such as electrical engineering, automation or industrial IT
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) is mandatory
- Willingness to travel for occasional international assignments (expert assessments, site surveys, training)
- Excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal qualities
- Ability to work independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid technical background (electrical engineering, automation & industrial IT)
- Ability to propose development and improvement initiatives
- Valid driver’s license
