About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conducting in-depth industry and financial analysis of existing and potential borrowers
  • Comprehensive underwriting for both new and existing clients
  • Monitoring financial covenants and interim trends
  • Collaborating closely to support the Lending and Credit functions within the Bank
  • Analyzing financial statements and assessing credit risk
  • Participating in Customer meetings for detailed inquiries
  • Preparing insightful and timely approval memorandums

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years related experience required
  • Demonstrates knowledge of credit and financial analysis techniques
  • Strong understanding of loan risk factors
  • Demonstrates ability to gather, consolidate, analyze and summarize data for commercial credit relationships
  • Effective time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Well developed research and analytical skills
  • PC skills with proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of credit and Customer information
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team orientation
  • Ability to coach, train and lead junior staff in credit and financial analysis techniques
