About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conducting in-depth industry and financial analysis of existing and potential borrowers
- Comprehensive underwriting for both new and existing clients
- Monitoring financial covenants and interim trends
- Collaborating closely to support the Lending and Credit functions within the Bank
- Analyzing financial statements and assessing credit risk
- Participating in Customer meetings for detailed inquiries
- Preparing insightful and timely approval memorandums
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 year degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years related experience required
- Demonstrates knowledge of credit and financial analysis techniques
- Strong understanding of loan risk factors
- Demonstrates ability to gather, consolidate, analyze and summarize data for commercial credit relationships
- Effective time management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Well developed research and analytical skills
- PC skills with proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of credit and Customer information
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team orientation
- Ability to coach, train and lead junior staff in credit and financial analysis techniques
