About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides advice, guidance and support to Risk Owners (businesses and corporate functions)
  • Supports all activities related to Canadian Privacy's Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) activities
  • Identifies issues and supports the management of privacy controls
  • Supports TD's data strategy and strategic data initiatives
  • Maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders and be an ambassador for TD's privacy program
  • Lead/support special projects, as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Undergraduate degree (or equivalent)
  • 3+ years relevant experience in a Legal, Compliance and/or Risk Management function
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex laws and regulations
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Previous privacy experience, including a designation with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), would be considered an asset
