About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Triage issues, perform root cause analysis, and lead war rooms for critical outages
- Deploy applications using Kubernetes, Helm charts, and service mesh
- Implement end-to-end observability with Datadog/Splunk
- Maintain hardened AWS base AMIs to minimize CVEs
- Participate in shift rotations, provide L2/L3 support
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years hands-on experience with AWS services and Kubernetes administration
- Proficiency with Datadog, Splunk, CloudWatch, or Grafana
- Proven experience with ITIL/ITSM processes
- Knowledge of AWS security best practices
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, VPC networking
- Preferred: Scripting & Automation skills in Python, Bash, or Go
