Systems Engineer

• Provide technical expertise to develop and deliver operational insights into the Mission Delta 3 space EW systems
• Ensure that Mission Delta 3 customers receive expert guidance in detailed discussions with both internal and external stakeholders
• Identify and develop handling strategies for space EW system risks, issues, and opportunities
• Provide communication systems expertise through mission analyses, specification of requirements, architectural trades, guidance on interface requirements, feedback on contractor design and development details, assessments of program risks and opportunities, system verification through testing and analysis, and fielding

Space Electromagnetic Warfare Systems Engineer – Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer

Engineer

• Carry out analysis driving recommendations for research, development, and acquisition decisions for legacy and emerging navigation and positioning systems
• Serve as a key point of contact for specialized technical expertise in geolocation, PNT architecture analysis or PNT resilience
• Lead cross-department teams in conducting specialized technical analysis and development tasks
• Independently translate customer needs into project objectives and provide technical evaluations
• Perform end-to-end (E2E) performance evaluations and analysis-of-alternatives (AoA) using in-house or internally developed analysis tools
• Serve as a technical mentor to junior staff in one or more department focus areas, coordinating training and delivering a strategy for maintaining bench depth in department capabilities
• Develop and present timely and technically accurate presentations and reports that clearly communicate analysis results to technical leads, management, and customers

Senior Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Engineer

• Trajectory design and optimization for launch vehicles and spacecraft for missions operating in LEO, MEO, HEO, GEO, and other earth-centric regimes
• Astrodynamics and orbital mechanics analysis including orbit propagation and maneuver design and optimization for orbit transfer, stationkeeping, graveyard, disposal, and reentry events
• Evaluating contested missions applications for space systems to understand threat performance, assess vulnerabilities, and improve system resiliency
• Develop space warfighting tactics aligned to the Chief of Space Operations (CSO) priorities by providing technical, operational, and risk assessments
• Understand customer requirements, models, and algorithms to develop integrated architectures and recommend technical and operational needs for Ops Centers’ processes
• Exploring and defining the evolving Dynamic Space Operations (DSO) mission area
• Maneuver and orbit design, selection, and optimization for missions that support Rendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPO) objectives with complex operational constraints
• Developing Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), exploring Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and incorporating operational constraints into the design and maturation of space systems

Flight Dynamics Engineer

Operations

• Providing systems engineering, integration, and test expertise to support the 53rd Space Operations Squadron (53SOPS) Wideband Mission Planning Cell (MPC)
• Providing system integration to the Wideband MPC, Wideband Control Branch, Wideband SATCOM Operations Centers, Regional SATCOM Support Centers, and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) SATCOM and Teleport Operations support during all phases of operations (e.g., day-to-day, contingency, non-routine, and emergency)
• Providing sustainment engineering support to USSF operators and sustainers at the 8th Sustainment Squadron (8STS) and 53rd Space Operations Squadron (53SOPS)
• Providing expertise for identifying, developing, evaluating, and testing modifications and enhancements to space and ground systems capabilities prior to fielding of new wideband SATCOM enterprise and tactical systems
• Providing support for the research, development, test, and evaluation of SATCOM system technology refreshment activities and emerging programs
• Directly interacting with various organizations, including Headquarters Combat Forces Command (CFC), U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM), DEL 8, 53SOPS, DISA, National Security Agency (NSA), SSC staff offices, other Combatant Commands, and MILSATCOM management boards and working groups to ensure adequate issue resolution and mission performance
• Communicating effectively with all levels of corporate management through timely reporting of technical issues and recommendations

MILSATCOM Mission Planning – Operations Engineer

Analyst

• Independently plan and contribute to technical analysis projects.
• Exercise your expertise in understanding, modeling, and analyzing enterprise-level integrated missions.
• Use and contribute to the development of in-house and commercial/government-off-the-shelf engineering analysis tools and analysis products.
• Develop and deliver timely and technically accurate presentations and reports.
• Travel occasionally as required.

Enterprise Modeling Staff Analyst

• Provide support for SDA and PNT mission areas through analysis, algorithm development, systems engineering, and modeling and simulation (M&S)
• Advise and support key stakeholders and government customers by planning, executing, and reporting on analytic studies
• Conduct analyses leveraging in-house, commercial, and government-provided M&S and analysis capabilities
• Develop system specifications, conduct tests, support exercises, and evaluate training requirements for space systems
• Perform orbit determination, target tracking, and navigation analyses using Kalman filtering and other estimation techniques
• Provide astrodynamic analytical support, algorithm development, systems engineering and architecting, and modeling and simulation analysis for space surveillance systems and missions
• Analyze EO, IR, radar, and passive radio frequency sensor concepts, architectures, and algorithms
• Conduct space protection, threat susceptibility, vulnerability, and resiliency assessments
• Develop proficiency across SDA, PNT, Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2), and space control mission areas
• Independently evaluate, select, adapt, and develop techniques and approaches to solve novel problems
• Collaborate with inter-organizational teams and external customers on matters of technical importance

Space Systems and Orbit Determination Operations Engineer

• Responsively assess the potential impact of current worldwide space and counterspace activities on U.S. national security space operations
• Utilize intelligence sources to perform engineering analysis to identify and mitigate space-based threats and threat enablers
• Conduct detailed technical analyses of current and future space systems
• Develop algorithms to study and/or fuse different sets of information and utilize data analytics to implement advanced processing and analysis techniques
• Identify new areas of concern in Space Domain Awareness and proactively develop recommendations for further global data collection and research
• Identify short- and long-term technical challenges for various customers, including the USAF/USSF, the Intelligence Community, and other government customers
• Prepare technical reports, briefings, and other deliverable materials
• Critically review reports, briefings, and other materials produced by team members
• Support and develop customer relationships

Satellite Systems Analyst

• Provide enterprise engineering and analytical support to defense, intelligence community, and civil government customers in portfolio management, digital engineering, and enterprise systems engineering
• Engage directly with Aerospace program office personnel as well as government customers
• Support the deployment or implementation of existing tools, models, and frameworks
• Identify new capabilities and enhancements that will better support the customer programs and architectures
• Support studies designed to solve complex problems and provide new and innovative technical solutions
• Take initiative to inform management of perceived technical problems and recommend courses of action
• Utilize Aerospace resources, teams, and expertise on the effective use of MBSE methodologies, modeling languages, and tools
• Lead and support studies designed to solve technical problems to provide recommendations to the customer
• Leverage Aerospace's technical backplane to provide tailored, technical support and innovative solutions for customer-specific use cases
• Provide ongoing technical consultation and advice to management, customers, and contractors
