About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and expand long-term strategic partnerships with major customers in the automotive sector (passenger cars and commercial vehicles)
  • Manage and further develop existing key accounts at management and executive level
  • Identify and win new strategic customers and establish sustainable business relationships
  • Develop and implement tailored account strategies and customer development plans to sustainably increase revenue and margins
  • Lead and coordinate collaboration between key account, regional sales, and internal departments to successfully implement group-wide solutions
  • Analyze customer potential, identify growth opportunities, and continuously advance our market position
  • Monitor market and competitor developments and derive strategic actions
  • Work closely with our Key Account Support and other interfaces to ensure successful execution of customer projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed commercial training, a degree in business administration, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in key account management or strategic sales, ideally in the automotive or workshop environment
  • Proven success in developing and expanding major customer relationships and in negotiating with decision-makers at management level
  • Experience in strategic customer development and in implementing growth and development plans
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills and a confident manner at all hierarchical levels
  • Analytical and entrepreneurial thinking, particularly in assessing revenue potential, pricing structures, and margin developments
  • High self-initiative, structured working style, and strong customer orientation
  • High willingness to travel within your assigned territory
