About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- work on research and transaction-related projects under the direction of senior members of the Corporate Development team
- participate in the assessment of new markets and development of business plans
- perform analytical analyses of potential transactions including pro forma financials and valuation
- manage core deal processes including business case development and data room review
Requirements
What you’ll need- good understanding of Cigna's businesses
- demonstrated ability to perform strategic, quantitative, and financial analysis
- excellent oral and written communications skills
- comfortable working in large, Excel-based models
- competent in the use of PowerPoint
- solid grasp of basic financial concepts, particularly as they relate to insurance
