About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect and implement robust endpoint security solutions, including EDR/EPP, Vulnerability Management, DLP and AI Security.
- Drive the adoption and integration of tools for endpoint visibility and security.
- Conduct proof-of-concept testing for new security configurations, policies, and emerging technologies.
- Oversee the administration of endpoint security platforms.
- Analyze and troubleshoot security-related issues.
- Act as the escalation point for endpoint-related incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align endpoint security policies with organizational goals.
- Champion cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives.
- Document playbooks, runbooks, and SOPs for security solutions.
- Conduct knowledge sharing and mentorship for IT teams, incident responders, and other cybersecurity stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging endpoint attack tactics and security technologies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in endpoint security engineering with a strong focus on tools like SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Rapid7, Qualys, Proofpoint and similar.
- 10+ years of Infrastructure Engineering experience.
- Proficiency in designing and deploying endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems.
- Advanced knowledge in Linux, macOS, and Windows operating systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or vendor-specific certifications for endpoint tools.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST, SOX, or CIS benchmarks.
- Deployment for containers and workloads (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, ECS, Fargate, GKE Autopilot).
- File Integrity Monitoring (FIM).
- Policy Compliance.
- Cloud service provider infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, etc).
- Scripting Languages (Shell scripting, Python, PowerShell, Bash, Zsh).
