About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Business development, including securing new clients, fostering long-term client relationships, leading proposal preparation, and developing and executing a strategic business development plan.
Leading meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other stakeholders to drive project success.
Project management, including planning and executing projects, managing budgets and schedules, ensuring quality and client satisfaction, and driving profitability.
Occasional mentoring and leadership of senior, mid-career, and junior staff, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Managing work to meet contract schedules, regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and high standards of care.
Preparing technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals that reflect innovation and technical excellence.
Occasional fieldwork as required by the Company.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, science, or a related field of study (required)
At least 15 years of relevant consulting or client-side experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience (required)
Extensive expertise in mining regulatory frameworks and environmental management, including permitting and ESG (required)
Experience working in multi-disciplinary project teams (required)
Demonstrated success in client development and management (required)
Valid Canadian driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required)
