About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leading safe, compliant and efficient transport and logistics operations across the Origin gases network
- Driving strong HSE performance, including incident management, audits and regulatory compliance
- Providing leadership, coaching and support to Supervisors and large frontline teams
- Overseeing fleet maintenance programs and ensuring audit-ready documentation
- Managing driver rostering, fatigue compliance, payroll accuracy and workforce planning
- Monitoring performance metrics (safety, service, productivity and cost) and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Preparing and chairing business, compliance and performance reviews, while partnering with internal stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive experience in transport, logistics or industrial operations within a multi-site environment
- Strong working knowledge of NHVR, Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management and compliance frameworks
- Proven experience managing large operational teams, including frontline leaders
- Confidence working with enterprise systems such as TMS, safety, payroll and workforce management platforms
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to risk management, incidents and operational challenges
