About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Finance, Investment, and Banking Department’s academic and administrative operations.
  • Oversee academic program planning, course scheduling, and instructor assignments.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support.
  • Lead academic program initiatives and events.
  • Support faculty activities—including promotion and review processes.
  • Manage critical administrative functions such as curriculum updates, expense processing, financial coordination, and other departmental procedures.
  • Work closely with the Department Chair to ensure efficient communication and processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in an office environment.
  • High degree of attention to detail.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to identify, develop, and implement effective processes and procedures affecting a variety of stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to relate complex information in an understandable fashion to a variety of people with various levels of knowledge on the topic.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload across diverse tasks independently.
  • Ability to process information and learn in a complex campus environment and work proactively, creatively, and flexibly to solve problems.
  • Experience using spreadsheets for managing projects, tracking expenditures, and similar functions.
  • Ability to work in close collaboration and cooperation with others.
  • Experience working in higher education.
  • Willingness and ability to acquire knowledge of policies and procedures relating to human resources, payroll, purchasing, and accounting services.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
