About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop and execute event plans that support business goals and create meaningful attendee experiences.
  • Manage event logistics, including venue coordination, catering, transportation, room sets, registration, signage, production, shipping, and onsite operations.
  • Lead assigned events throughout the year, ranging from small meetings and employee engagements to large-scale conferences, hosted events, and tradeshows.
  • Manage relationships with venues, hotels, agencies, transportation providers, and event vendors to ensure alignment and successful execution.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, forecasts, and reconciliation processes.
  • Develop post-event reports evaluating attendance, engagement, satisfaction, operational success, and business outcomes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Events, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience planning and executing corporate events, conferences, tradeshows, hosted events, sponsorship activations, or experiential marketing programs
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing events from planning through onsite execution and post-event evaluation
  • Experience leading project kickoff meetings, planning calls, and cross-functional working sessions with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Experience presenting event recommendations, project updates, event plans, budgets, and post-event results to stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Experience developing and managing project plans across multiple concurrent events
  • Experience managing multiple complex events simultaneously while balancing competing stakeholder priorities and deadlines
  • Experience managing event budgets, timelines, vendors, contracts, and stakeholder communications
  • Experience working with venues, hotels, production companies, exhibit partners, and event suppliers
  • Experience leading onsite teams, vendors, volunteers, or event staff during live event execution
  • Experience working within a matrixed corporate environment and supporting multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with event technology platforms including Cvent, registration systems, lead capture tools, and reporting platforms preferred
  • Experience in B2B marketing, technology, analytics, financial services, insurance, or professional services environments preferred
  • CMP or similar industry certifications are a plus
