About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the development and execution of engagement strategies across Verisk's event portfolio, including:
- Partner with the Engagement Strategy Manager to develop attendee engagement strategies for tradeshows, conferences, hosted events, and employee experiences
- Support the design and evolution of attendee journeys, identifying opportunities to improve audience engagement before, during, and after events
- Assist in the development of experiential concepts, activations, networking opportunities, and engagement programs that align with business objectives
- Contribute to the planning and growth of the Emerging Professionals program and other audience-specific initiatives
- Support exhibit and booth experience planning, including messaging alignment, audience flow, engagement opportunities, and experience optimization
- Research industry trends, competitive activations, and emerging experiential best practices to inform future event strategies
- Collaborate with teams across Marketing (e.g., Account-Based Marketing, Brand Strategy, Integrated Marketing, and Corporate Communications) to identify opportunities, share insights, and develop experiences that strengthen Verisk's presence and differentiation in the market (both domestically and internationally)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Events, Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in experiential marketing, event marketing, tradeshow marketing, sponsorship marketing, conference management, or a related field
- Experience supporting strategic event programs, conferences, tradeshows, sponsorships, or exhibit marketing initiatives
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Experience presenting recommendations, insights, or project updates to stakeholders and leadership teams
- Experience developing project plans, timelines, and cross-functional communications
- Experience working with vendors, agencies, sponsors, exhibitors, or event technology partners
- Familiarity with attendee engagement strategies, sponsorship programs, event technology platforms, and measurement frameworks
- Experience working within a matrixed corporate environment and supporting multiple business stakeholders
- Experience with event technology platforms including Cvent and related event engagement tools preferred
- PMP, CMP, CEM, or other relevant certifications are a plus
