About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- To manage and develop existing and new products and/or services, ownership of related customer and colleague journeys.
- Develop the product strategy, drive change through Barclays execution teams, make key decisions in the product lifecycle and own associated outcomes.
- Development of customer level strategies & solutions tailored to customers’ needs.
- Subject Matter Expert in the applicable Product/Proposition team, guide and advise stakeholders at all levels in the Bank.
- Development of product propositions, define the priorities for delivering outcomes and lead execution.
- Evaluation of technical feasibility, legal compliance, and potential risks associated with new product development.
- Monitoring of market trends and analysis feedback for product improvement.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in collection and recoveries/Financial Assistance.
- Ability to look at customer journeys and provide suggestions on how products can be improved based on internal and external market perspectives.
- Experience in project delivery end to end, including experience working against agile principals.
- Experience in building robust business cases against product propositions and measuring through to post-delivery benefits validation.
- Experience working in regulatory and compliance environment.
- Ability to manage and influence stakeholders up to Director level across cross-functional teams to support with decision-making.
- Knowledge of multiple product types such as secured & unsecured, which may be revolving or non-revolving in nature.
- Experience in using SQL, SAS, Jira or Confluence.
- Agile accredited.
- Knowledge of impairment, risk weighted assets & operational expenditure metrics.
