About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create and complete bids, estimations, and quotations based on customer specifications, requirements, or budget.
Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial aspects for each situation.
Creating well-documented tenders in a timely manner and with an appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.
Managing the preparation of technical, financial, and, if required, project management aspects of the bid, estimate, and quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.
Ensuring that inputs for editing activities related to bid, estimate, and quotation preparation are provided in a timely manner and in accordance with the established quality procedures.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent / similar fields)
Must possess technical background within ANSI/IEC low voltage switchgears and/or motor control centers (if not in those specific products, than experience within packaging, services, electrification and or distribution systems)
5+ years of relevant experience in engineering, sales, quotations, proposals, manufacturing
Candidates with prior proposals experience are strongly preferred
Proficient with MS Word, AutoCAD, Excel, SharePoint and preferably programming skills (macros, java, PowerApps, etc)
Candidates must already possess authorization to work for ABB in the US.
