About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function.
Execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures.
Deliver and participate in training programs as required.
Execute purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
Design and implement plans and effective strategies for local sourcing of products/materials.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Higher education, preferably in the field of management, production, logistics or economics.
Experience in a similar role, preferably in the production facility and/or purchasing department.
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management issues.
Very good knowledge of English.
Very good knowledge of Ms Excel.
Knowledge of SAP Ariba, SAP, PowerBI will be an advantage.
Active driving license category B and readiness for business trips.
Communication skills, the ability to cooperate at various organizational levels.
