About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build relationships, understand business needs and engage with key functions to deliver results
- Develop and execute category strategies, run RFPs/RFQs/eAuctions and scout for innovative suppliers
- Own contract negotiations, manage supplier performance and ensure compliance with ESG and sustainability goals
- Champion digital transformation by integrating AI and digital best practices into everyday procurement and drive adoption of new tools and processes
- Act as a change agent, train colleagues and continuously seek out new ways to improve and automate
- Monitor supply chain and cyber risks, ensuring business continuity and compliance
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree (business or engineering preferred)
- 5+ years’ experience in sourcing, category management or related fields
- Proactive and collaborative attitude with a focus on growth and innovation
- Strong communication, analytical and project management skills
- Solid negotiations and contract management expertise
- Advanced skills with SAP Ariba, Apadua, Keelvar, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Passion for digital innovation and AI in procurement, with hands-on experience using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity
- Fluent English; other European languages are a plus
