About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and manage the supplier base by leading pre-qualification, evaluating technical and commercial capabilities, and ensuring alignment with ABB standards for quality, compliance, and sustainability
  • Support sales and tender activities by working closely with sales teams, managing supplier dialogue, and contributing to pricing, risk assessments, and competitive proposals
  • Lead contract management and negotiations, including drafting terms and conditions and negotiating pricing, delivery schedules, warranties, and key obligations
  • Drive strategic sourcing and market insight by monitoring supplier markets, identifying new partners, and contributing to long-term supplier strategies
  • Collaborate across functions and projects, working closely with engineering, sales, and project management while monitoring supplier performance and addressing risks, delays, and quality issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Higher education in business, engineering, logistics, or a related field
  • Solid experience in supply chain management, sourcing, or commercial project roles
  • Experience from maritime, defense, or industrial sectors is an advantage
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Analytical, structured, and able to think strategically
