About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Preparing and leading sourcing and tender processes, including all required documentation
- Identifying, selecting, and developing new suppliers
- Managing and developing relationships with existing suppliers, including supplier evaluation and support for ongoing collaboration
- Negotiating commercial terms with a focus on cost, quality, and delivery reliability
- Collaborating with internal teams to optimize material costs and improve supply chain efficiency
- Supporting supplier audits
- Identifying and implementing cost-saving projects and other continuous improvement initiatives
- Reporting and close cooperation with other departments
- Working with the SAP ERP system
Requirements
What you’ll need- Communicative level of English and Czech, enabling daily communication and negotiations with suppliers
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP is considered an advantage
- Process-oriented mindset and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently, attention to detail, proactive approach, and strong execution skills
- Valid Category B driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally
- Previous experience in strategic purchasing or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
