About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Be responsible for the sales of ABB's Electrification products in Atlanta, GA and surrounding areas.
- Achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.
- Showcase expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
- Drive contractor relationships by building strong, multi‑level partnerships with electrical contractors and influencing specifications to prefer ABB solutions.
- Execute strategic sales plans to grow market share and margin, introduce new products, and consistently meet or exceed volume and profitability targets.
- Lead opportunity management through proactive pipeline tracking, competitive intelligence gathering, take‑offs, cost‑effective proposals, and successful negotiation and closure of project orders.
- Deliver customer education via technical presentations, training, and industry engagement while maintaining accurate CRM data and analyzing hit‑rate performance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college or GED with 5+ years of sales experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical industry and ABB products
- Knowledge and experience quoting and/or selling commercial, industrial and residential projects to electrical contractors
- Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time.
