About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the global sales function and serve as a member of the Business Line Management Team.
  • Define and execute the commercial strategy across all BL Mining & Materials businesses.
  • Drive profitable growth, strategic account development, market expansion and commercial excellence worldwide.
  • Work closely with business unit leaders, cluster managers and country sales organizations.
  • Shape ABB’s commercial success in the mining, cement and battery materials industries.
  • Develop and execute the global sales strategy, build and coach an international sales leadership team.
  • Ensure alignment between business priorities, customer needs and growth opportunities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • Significant experience in global sales leadership, business development or commercial management within mining, process industries, automation, electrification or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing growth strategies across international markets.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience leading global and culturally diverse teams.
  • Excellent commercial acumen including strategic account management, negotiations and business planning.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior customer and business leaders.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
