About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Global Operations for the Motors and Generators business line within the Motion High Power Division
- Define and guide the operations strategy, align all operational areas, improve value chain performance across safety, quality, inventory, delivery, productivity, and project execution
- Shape the global operational footprint in line with business and product portfolio priorities
- Support local execution of key initiatives, including CAPEX investments, mergers and acquisitions, and divestments
- Work closely with regional leaders, business line management, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver business results
- Lead and facilitate operations community workstreams across multiple locations
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence, including deployment of best practices and performance transparency
- Coordinate project execution and resolve quality issues in global customer accounts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Senior operations professional with minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Experience leading teams across multiple regions
- Proven track record in leading large-scale operations in manufacturing industry
- Strong experience in operational performance management and transformation initiatives
- Experience in factory ramp-ups, production ramp-ups and post-acquisition operational integration
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Strong communication, intercultural and leadership skills
- Ability to influence, align, and drive execution across regions and functions
- Lean / Six Sigma expertise is preferred and considered an advantage
