About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team within a Production unit or line to execute production processes.
- Ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the quality assurance team.
- Oversee product or service inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Train and manage a team of quality inspectors.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality assurance activities.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other relevant departments.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of manufacturing production supervisory experience.
- Quality and continuous process improvement experience.
- Proven manufacturing supervisory skills with ability to train, instruct, and motivate employees.
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
