About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead Amgen’s strategy and engagement to transform how employers approach obesity treatment
  • Define and lead the national strategy to expand employer coverage of GLP-1 therapies for obesity and related conditions
  • Identify, segment and prioritize key employer stakeholders
  • Shape employer-focused value propositions that communicate clinical outcomes
  • Serve as a key market access leader supporting launch planning, execution, and post-launch optimization
  • Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with employers, employer benefits consultants, and national coalitions
  • Manage performance against business objectives, key performance indicators, and coverage expansion targets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Doctorate degree and 4 years of Sales, Marketing and/or Payor experience OR Master’s degree and 8 years of Sales, Marketing and/or Payor experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of Sales, Marketing and/or Payor experience
  • Deep expertise in U.S. market access
  • Proven success influencing coverage, reimbursement, or benefit design decisions
  • Experience supporting product launches or major access inflection points
  • Strong understanding of obesity, cardiometabolic, or specialty market dynamics
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels
  • Executive presence with experience engaging C-suite or senior external stakeholders
