About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build/assemble test fixtures based off schematic diagrams and documentation.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in electronics including reading schematics.
  • Support electrical production lines including troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis of electrical components/assemblies.
  • Perform design verification and validation tests from a provided test plan.
  • Document test procedures and laboratory processes to maintain test accuracy and repeatability.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in mechanical fixturing to support test functions on electromechanical products.
  • Ability to solder at advanced level including leadless packages.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to install and use various test tools for testing of prototypes and some production lines.
  • Collaborate with the embedded design and embedded operations solutions team.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in related technology preferred with 5+ years of related experience and/or training required.
  • Familiarity with production line test automation preferred.
  • Proficiency using EDA tools to read schematics for PCBA troubleshooting/repair
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • LabVIEW or python development experience is a plus
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence in English and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, technicians, and assemblers in English.
