About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Address complex scalability challenges to support rapid user growth while maintaining high availability and optimal performance
Collaborate with firmware engineers, UX designers, and product managers to design, iterate, and implement new Security and SD-WAN features within the Meraki Dashboard for our customers
Contribute significantly to production code and provide guidance to junior engineers through code reviews
Responsible for scoping, design and building some of the high impact technology projects
Accountable for the stability of our product with a high customer focus

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience writing professional production code and tests
5+ years of experience in Web backend technologies, like Ruby on Rails, Python, Node.js, etc.
3+ years of experience in building rich web UIs with React (and Redux) or similar frameworks
Can implement efficient database design and query performance in a relational database (Postgres, SQL, etc)
