About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and implement high quality SRE applications and tools for Cisco SDWAN management layer
Create and execute test strategies, reporting results and metrics to ensure feature quality
Collaborate with team members to determine the root cause of problems and the best course of action to resolve problems and avoid them in the future
Maintain cloud-hosted development, staging, and production environments and their monitoring and alerting systems
Apply modern, best practices in designs and implementations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of related experience in Software Development Engineering, OR Master's Degree in Computer Science with 4 years of experience, OR PhD with 1 year of experience
5+ years experience in software development including specification, implementation and testing
5+ years experience in Python programming
Experience in manual and automation testing using Python
Experience in testing using Selenium, REST API or similar frameworks
Experience in Django and/or Linux based systems
