About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Draft and negotiate bespoke, complex sales and commercial agreements with major hyperscalers
- Advise on AI- and IP-related issues
- Provide counsel across direct and indirect sales through channel partners
- Partner with Finance to structure deal terms consistent with revenue recognition policies
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior Sales leadership and Finance
- Analyze and resolve complex business and legal issues
- Ensure all transactions adhere to internal compliance, governance, data privacy, and regulatory requirements
- Act as a proactive teammate and mentor
Requirements
What you’ll need- 12+ years of legal experience
- substantial technology-industry experience supporting complex transactional matters for a multinational organization
- expert knowledge of commercial, contract, and business law
- proficiency in intellectual property, software and technology licensing, data use rights, privacy and security, antitrust, and export-import regulations
- demonstrated experience negotiating high-value agreements with major hyperscalers
- familiarity with data privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, EU Data Act)
- high proficiency in standard desktop applications (Office 365)
- excellent English language skills (written and verbal)
