About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide support on day-to-day operations and commercial engagements while partnering with management to interpret contractual provisions, offer risk assessments, and deliver solutions that support business objectives.
Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements to ensure all terms align with corporate strategy and protect the interests of the organization.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Admitted to practice law, preferably in France (Bar admission) and native-level proficiency in French
5+ years of post-qualification experience in commercial and corporate law, obtained at a top law firm or a multinational corporate legal department.
Track record of drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts independently in both French and English
Fluency in French and English (additional European languages are a plus).
Experience negotiating technology or telecommunications service agreements.
Knowledge of EU data protection laws, GDPR, and relevant security compliance frameworks.
Experience maintaining comprehensive contract documentation and audit trails to ensure regulatory readiness.
Deep knowledge of applicable law, particularly laws applicable to the IT sector.
Strong organizational skills with a proactive, independent, and detail-oriented approach.
Proven experience and proficiency in using AI-powered legal technology tools for day-to-day tasks and legal operations.
